He arrived before the presence of Olofin and he said to him that a few miles away was a great encamped army that came from far away to pay tribute, all there were mocked him and Olofin answered him that in view of this, all which they bring for me shall be yours, and there you will be king. Thus that is how as Chegue became rich. 

HISTORY

All the saints had a meeting with Orula. They decided each one to distribute what they had or found and Orula offered the same thing to them. Closing the accord each one took their direction. Elegua' was first to find the food, a goat and although he was not far he reconsidered. Thinking of himself, he said:  by the time I arrive at the house of Orula it will spoil, so he ate it whole. The others did the same thing. Therefore, Orula had to dig the earth, when hardly dug, he found great wealth, and the saints found out and went to visit him. They let him know they found out about his wealth and that he was going to make his house and that the accord was in effect. Orunla answered to them that the one that does not fulfill the accord cannot protest and they called him GREEDY Orula. 

HISTORY

The king had a disobedient and liar as a son, who nobody believed. Once, he went to be looked at by Orula and this IFA was said to him. Orula sent him to make rogation, because he saw that he was going to become a liar and disobedient and no one would believe him. When he saw Orula had mentioned that he would be very poor, the son did not listen, because he thought that Orula did not know that he was the son of a king. After some time that son of the king who was lazy and did not work and began to have a hard time. He became increasingly remote from everything until he went into the woods apart from his land. He had a very hard time, became somewhat naked and in this state he met an old man, a fortune teller and went to see him. Once again, it was with Orula, the boy blessed him and this time requested pardon from him arranging himself to do what Orula sent him. After he did rogation he sent him to burn his clothes he had on in the woods and thus he did and in the middle of the woods he began to burn the only clothes he had left and he remained naked. However, near that place a strong army wished to have a chief to take the reign from the father. The army went to where it had seen the smoke. When they arrived, they found a naked man. They proclaimed him chief and put him at the front of the force. When arriving at the kingdom the soldiers or warriors of his father they did not resist him. Being able to arrive at the palace with all his army, he sent a message to the father to surrender and give the crown to him. The father did not believe it because it was a message of a liar and returned the messenger commanding him to say that if he had that army at the door he would give the crown to him. When the father came out and saw that it was true, he had no other choice than to give to him the crown. From that moment ALADI that was the sons’ name, was king.

To Olofin they denounced that Orula was doing much bad, and Olofin ordered a boy to watch Orula to see if everything what people said was true. The boy peeking thru a hole watched that Orula requested well-being for everybody. Olofin sent another servant, which related to him the same. When he returned, he explained the same the boy had mentioned. Olofin having noticed that everything had to with slander against Orula. He did not order anymore for him to be watched.

Here is where all the hunters made an agreement, but Orgun went to the river Ochu’n, fished 200 snappers, and did not give to the others with which he had made the agreement. later he went to the field in reunion of his companions and took head of cattle and pigs, then went to the woods of Obatala' and   took snails. Obatala' asked but he did not give him any. Obatala' seeing and undergoing much avarice separated from the contract and retired quietly to his house. When on his way he fell into an underground pit of money. The others found out that Obatala' had plenty of money all began to request of him including Orgun, but Obatala' answered  that he could not give anything and that they should be satisfied like he was when they all had. Then they said to him, “stuff yourself greedy”.
