OLOCUN

OLOCUN - Is after Oddua, the highest representation of Ocha.This Santa (female gender) who is represented in Ocha like the life and the death.OLOCUN is deity of Ocha, because it is the sea, and the sea is Olo': expansion and extension are of Olocun, where Illa'-mo-alle' comes from, as is called to which we know by Yemalla', that means: MOTHER OF THE WORLD .In Africa there are some places that call her Illa'-moella' :MOTHER OF THE FISH. In short, Olocu'n all includes it.The sea is a world deeply unknown and respected by the African.The sea is called Ocu'n .

OLOCUN - This represented by the seven seas that surround the world and each one includes/understands an original Yemalla', whose names are the following ones:

Ocute, Azabba, Mallelogun, Asesu', Oquero, Oroo' and Ibu'-Agana.

These are the seven original and true names of the Yemalla'. However, exhausting the names of these seas, when a Yemalla' is being made, the Oriate' that has learned conscientiously, will investigate inthe field of Ara'-onu', for example:Ocute-odonu, Azabba-lonu', etc

The family of Olocu'n is made up of nine saints, they are: Seven Belli's, Olocu'n and Chango'. The Belli's are the following ones:

-        2.Cainde'

-        3.Ideu'

-        4.Olo'ro

-        5.ta'guo

-        6.Oroni'a

-        7.rabba

-        8.Chango', father of these Belli.

We must remember that the word, Chango' means problems.

OLOCUN, THE HEAD OF THIS DEITY IS AT THE HEART OF THE SEA, FOR THAT REASON IT IS SAID IN YROZO:NOBODY KNOWS WHAT THERE IS AT HEART OF THE SEA, BUT ONLY THE SEA AND OLODDUMARE KNOWS.

And all these things, from where are born?Of Olocu'n, of Chango', of Agana' Ocu'n, that it means:Nobody knows what locks up in its depth. Then you will understand that this Santo being so powerful, must take two hands of snails that never will speak.One is a body without head on the Earth, because its head hides in the depths of the sea, only God knows where he is.

Olo'cu'n speaks by means of Yemalla', not even speaks a single time, but for means of the referred Yemalla'.In Olocu'n it is the life of all we and there it is our death also, represented by two great spirits.
